Concept:

CAVE is a third-person adventure game that contains elements of shooting. The player and his friends strayed into a cave full of crystals while exploring the mysterious jungle. While they were still exploring enthusiastically, there was already a danger approaching them.
Can they escape from the chasing of the monster and get out of the cave?
"Rugged terrain, complex caves, monster chase, and fight for escape."

Game Mechanic:

The main mechanism of the game is that the bullets fired by the player are related to the player's location. Different bullets will cause different effects. There are three kinds of bullets with different attributes in the whole game, which are ice bullets, fire bullets, and life bullets. Each bullet can interact with the scene differently.

Ice bullets can freeze the water surface so that players can walk on the ice. The effect of the fire bullet is to destroy the roadblocks on the road. The effect of life bullets is to make the plants hit by bullets grow up, so as to help players cross higher obstacles.

Players need to choose the right area to shoot the right bullets, in order to cross all kinds of obstacles. At the same time, with the progress of the game, the difficulty of the game will gradually increase, the terrain will become more rugged, and there will be changes in the terrain in the final stage.

Game Pillars:

---Escape battle
The player needs to escape the monster's chase, avoid the attack from the Boss and jump over obstacles in complex terrain. If the Boss caught up with the player, then the Game is over.

---Excitement
Throughout the game, the player needs to find the best route to run in complex terrain and interact with the scene to escape from Boss. Players need to contact different ores to gain different powers. Such as the power of fire to help players destroy obstacles. The power of the ice could make the water freeze, and the power of life makes the plants grow and help them climb to higher terrain.

Scene Building:

The project's overall style is the low-poly style, such as the characters, environment, and visual effects. The project's scenes could be divided into two parts, tutorial scenes, and game scenes.

When the players first enter the cave, the overall environment is very bright and provides a relatively wide space. Such an environment can provide a relaxed atmosphere for players to practice. This kind of atmosphere is very suitable for teaching players the basic mechanism of the game. At the same time, it will also contrast with the tense atmosphere of the game.

When the game officially starts, the player goes into the narrow and dark cave. During the cave scene construction, the brightness value and the whole cave's height are also lower. This kind of environment will give players a more depressing feeling. Players need to make the right decisions quickly in this environment. Cooperating with the mechanism of the game can create a nervous and exciting game experience.

Level Design: The design for the entire level can be divided into sections. The entire BOSS process is divided into three phases
The first is to get into the pre-game teaching brief, The player has just entered the cave, and is relatively flat. Players learn how to control basic actions such as character movement, jumping, etc. The player will then learn how to shoot and understand the role of different types of bullets.

Then enter the official level. Players will face the challenge of moving, jumping, and shooting and the difficulty will gradually increase during the game. 
In the middle stage, the boss will cause a certain color of ore on the ground to explode, and the player needs to avoid it in time.
In the final stage, the Boss will make the ground more rugged. The ground will collapse or rise randomly. Make it difficult for the player to move forward.
